Why I opened Footopia in Denver in 2003,    I had taken my Z-coil shoes for a six-month hike across six Asian countries. They were marvelous, carrying me at least five miles a day to places as diverse as the sidewalks of Bangkok and the small towns of Laos. I realized that it was possible to do much more than we believe we can -- if we only take charge of our health.

   I opened Footopia and helped hundreds of people to reaffirm this simple truth. My challenge now is to make available as much of the wide array of excellent products I have found over the last years in the Footopia webstore. I am committed to not merely selling these products but helping people make informed choices about what can work for them.
